400+ players participated in our 2016 Summer Camp.

The BIS Academy Outdoor Summer Soccer Camp, under the direction of Head Coach Peter Ambrose, will provide players with a competitive and enjoyable experience. Our guest staff features past professional coaches, players, and current college All-Americans from across the country are scheduled to attend. Campers will receive specialized competitive training on soccer fundamentals, techniques and tactics. This camp is designed for recreational and competitive based soccer players who desire quality coaching while having fun.

The BIS Academy Outdoor Soccer Camps will be split into three different camps this summer. All camps will be held on the new outdoor field at Longmont Indoor Soccer. Players will be split into appropriate age groups.

• Youth Camp, ages  4 – 10, will expose the players to proper techniques of dribbling, passing & shooting through fun and engaging games.
• Advanced Camp, ages 10 and up, will expose the players the technical, tactical, and mental components of the game.
• Goalkeeper & Striker Camps, age 8 and up, for more information about the Goalkeeper & Striker Camp please see below.

• Warm-up, stretching, both with and without the ball
• Shooting and finishing on goal
• Striking a driven ball with proper technique
• Passing and receiving
• Technical ball control, skill work, feints and the art of deception
• Foot speed with the ball and first step quickness training
• Defensive shape and movement training

The BIS Academy Outdoor Goalkeeper & Striker Camps are designed for ages 8+ and all skill levels.  The goalkeepers and strikers will start the sessions separated, and work with their own specialized coaches.  The camp will focus on the technical development required for the player’s desired position.  The groups will be combined for fun and competitive small sided games. Players will be split into appropriate age groups.
